This hybrid is very well known in the areas where it is cultivated tomato for the production of peeled tomatoes. The plant is determinate, vigorous, with good leaf covering, recommended for mechanical harvesting in middle and late productions. The fruit is pear shaped, with good size (70 g), very firm and deep red coloured. Its major qualities are great yield and good field holding. Because of the plant vigour, water and nitrogen must be well dosed (better if it is given calcium nitrate) during the periods of more intense vegetative development. During fertilization Talent prefers potassium and calcium, to be given in a well balanced way compared to the supply of other cations.

For these characters, Rapidus is suitable for the production of whole peeled tomatoes.
Pear tomato hybrid with "full flesh" fruit of excellent colour, characterized by few seeds and very little juice. The few seeds are contained in a compact gel. The plant has medium-late cycle, is vigorous and determinate, with good leaf covering. It produces fruits of good size and weight of 90 g. Recommended for paste and diced tomatoes. It guarantees very good processing yield. Intermediate resistance (IR) to nematodes.
Early hybrid, well known for its productivity and its good field- holding. Plants are determinate, suitable both for one or double-row planting, and are compact with good leaf coverage, extraordinarily fertile even in the harshest weather conditions. Ripening is concentrated, the fruits are jointless, firm and of medium size. The variety prefers medium texture soils and requires proper fertilization, to enable it to quickly develop its own vegetative structure. Thanks to its healthy growth and high field-holding, Ruphus is surely the hybrid that expresses the fewest defects.
