Seedless hybrid watermelon, “personal” type. Fruits are round, weighing 2.0 kg and with excellent uniformity of size. The flesh is deep red, crisp and with a high sugar content. The seedless character ensures excellent shelf life. Plants have medium vigour with good fruit setting.
With a very short cycle, Sweet Candy can be cultivated in greenhouses, tunnels and open field. As the seedless varieties produce lifeless pollen, planting with the interposition of pollinating varieties is recommended.
