ITALO (ML 17104) F1*

Italian cantaloupe hybrid melon appreciated for its attractive presentation, with strong netting and evident sutures. Fruits are round-oval in shape with an average weight of 1.4 to 1.6 kg. The flesh is orange coloured, crisp, with a high brix level. Firm flesh and good shelf life make Italo suitable for the supermarket supply chain and export. Plants have medium/ high vigour, with very good leaf coverage. The cycle is medium early, and the variety is recommended for greenhouse, tunnel and open field cultivations.
Thanks to its good fruit setting and high uniformity, Italo guarantees an excellent yield of premium-quality fruit. High resistance (HR) to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. Melonis (FOM 0,1,2) and good tolerance to Powdery Mildew (Px).
